It's a bit bizarre that over 9000 years later I'm still branding miscellaneous day-to-day blawg chatter as "daylogs", isn't it. I'm not really as hung up on That Site as this habit might suggest. But I suppose it is nevertheless high time to find some more meaningul way to tag miscellaneous day-to-day blawg chatter.

Or perhaps the truly sane thing to do would be not tag it at all. I carried the term forward into... LJ first, I guess, as a tongue-in-cheek thing from the get-go.

LBOM: A few weeks ago one of the board members decided to resign. There was a history of her poisonous backstabby gossip repeatedly undermining the organization. Not once, not twice... like 5 different incidents... So when she tendered her resignation we breathed a sigh of relief and hoped she'd fade into the background. Nope, still active and toxic, so we had a 2/3 board meeting to not only remove her as a board member but to "fire" her from volunteering as well. The rules-of-order aspect was interesting. I would like to learn how to conduct corporate governance, but without, y'know, getting an MBA or going to law school.

Sunday we had dinner at Brewzzi's. The calamari fritte appetizer cost more than our burger entrees. (Worthit.) I tried the Tropical Madness brew, first beer since before Lent. Nice, nothing to write home about. The crab-topped burger was good but I probably would have been happier with L.-'s gorgonzola burger.
