Caught up a little on organizing estate files, but foiled just for today by the bank phone system's refusal to supply a live human, which turned into Miss rubbing me the wrong way but I thought better of making a public mountain of a proverbial molehill.

*deep breath*
End of rant

Ran dishwasher
vacuumed
turned in prescription meds and insulin sharps collected while emptying the house
ATM for pocket cash
War*malt for inst coffee and non-dairy creamer

Divvy up ashes. Today I learned cremation remains consist almost entirely of bone powder, as flesh is entirely vaporized in cremation. These weighed in about 7.1 lbs. I guess I expected a cigarette- or charcoal-ash gray, not this off-white. Opening the containing bag to divide the remains entails breaking a somewhat elaborate seal, fortunately I had a supply of zip-ties of my own from my network cabling days.
