Session #14: (per twitter) ‎3.3mi / 48.00 minutes, peaking at 6.5mph for a half-lap, regularly finishing half-lap runs at 4.8ish mph jogging. The best part of this was as I was coming up on the end of lap 13 (3.25 miles, my psychological "home stretch") I was all "wow I can do this in well under my 49m20s best previous time", so I stepped up to ~5.3mph. And I hit it at a point where I was well-recovered, so I just pounded on past the 3.3 mile mark to run out a bit over a half-lap (to the 3.5 mi ma... (...more)

I'm not sure what the benefit of Secure Google ( is. Big deal, when you're Googling in the airport or coffee shop, other people on the open WAP can't sniff your search terms? Hopefully you're not Googling anarchist cookbooks or kiddie pron in public to start with. They still store your search history, the better to target ads my dear. Wish I'd jotted it down when I woke up, because I know there was more to it than money-worry. Oh well.

So instead, here's an article from my bookmarks about using lasers to zap mosquitos. Amazingly affordable for commercial applications, but I imagine there'd have to be a demarc'ed "danger zone" else somebody will eventually get a retina zapped in passing.
