An LBOM friend emailed yesterday to say his wife had passed. I'd only met her once. Back before I withdrew from LBOM, he sent me a couple email invites to pricey men's spirituality workshops, but I didn't have that kind of money in the budget so our friendship didn't really break out of the LBOM box. Last night's movie after breakfast-for-dinner was "Being Awesome" (2014). Of course I didn't have time to alliance and level him up, so that's lined up as soon as I recap the weekend's travel. Left work early Fri to get a head start on driving to Cedar Wood Inn in Flat Rock. I suggested a scenic route that wouldn't add but a couple minutes to the route, and that went over well. Dinner at Black Rose in downtown Hendersonville - we weren't wow'ed by ... (...more)

Inbox Zero \o/ I get a lot of political donation and petition begs, but these are probably the easiest/quickest thing to process or discard. What was hard to wrap my head around for a while was how to disposition the ongoing flow of activity suggestions, inputs on shared goals e.g. furniture or rings, and honey-do emails. I had to create and prioritize some folders but I'm fairly satisfied with the way I'm handling it now. We've both been working for 6+ weeks now so it was high time to start moving ahe... (...more)
