Thurday I fueled up the Fiat for 10.248 gallons, which is cutting it pretty close on a 10.5 gallon tank. But mileage was something like 272 miles, or 26.5 mpg. If your team needs 4 people to stay on top of all the work it does, and 1 person leaves, then you should expect to fall behind by about 25% of a day every day until a replacement is up-and-running.

1.25 days per week
5 days per 4-week month

I.e after 1 month, every member of the team will be a work-week behind on their regular duties.

This is solvable with overtime, but the opposite of cost-efficient.

WFH day to quarantine Miss's flu Saturday I received a utility bill for the sold property, dated out to a week after the sale. Between the realtor and the city utility department I was able to confirm the account was yes, closed a week after the real estate sale closed. But whatever, it's closed and done with and I'm not inclined to burn time quibbling over a $60 fraction of a bill in light of all the other expenses of the estate thus far. Miss organized the pantry and set overages aside to donate to... (...more)
