It's always the subcontractors who only do work for us sporadically that act like we're monsters to suggest a brief, informal email when it's time to get paid. Meanwhile the ones that do high volumes of work simply invoice us as a matter of course without having to put on a show of acting hurt and aggrieved about it. No-brainer, average cost per share is $5. Now let's say on Jul 1 you see a 3% price drop and you're in it for the dividends, not per-share growth so much, because it has a strong ROI history. re: That song stuck in my head... the phrase repeated in the refrain is "If I", not "good bye" - as in "If I Didn't Love You (I'd Hate You)" Turns out GYLD was in a 1% dip 8/17 (when I assigned a savings chunk to it) only because it was the day after the ex/eff date. So basically I bought in a day too late to reap the benefit of the monthly dividend. Something about the droid ecosystem changed such that the "Alarm Clock Plus" app wasn't able to fire as expected, so I retired it. Trying the stock droid Clock app, which seems to have evolved more alarm options since I last eyeballed it.
