Quite some time ago I took the "Love Languages" inventory to learn my "languages" in order of preference are: 9 Physical Touch 9 Quality Time 8 Acts of Service 3 Words of Affirmation 1 Receiving Gifts Miss Cupcake's, by contrast, are: 12 Acts of Service 7 Quality Time 5 Receiving Gifts 4 Words of Affirmation 2 Physical Touch "Knowing" this is not the same as "having an email filed away to refer to when I randomly think of it". For a long time at work, I had a word-processor file with to-do items at the top followed by journal entries, most-recent first. This became unmanageable so I split out my to-do list into a separate WP file. In meetings, as I take handwritten notes, I flag "action items" with an eyecatching star, to tackle right away after the meeting or at least transcribe into my medium-range to-do list. Coffee, 18g yogurt, vitamin and an omega-3 cap. Ran out the battery charge on my BlueAnt earbuds. No idea really how much total time I got from a full charge. Chick-Fil-A I was a little hung up on what it even means when a job listing calls for candidates to be "detail oriented". I don't know if I'm any closer to knowing what it means. It appears maybe it's nothing more than "having at least normal capacity to self-organize, follow directions and focus". Salespeople do not have to be "detail oriented",... (...more)

If you look at the prepopulated "user" subfolders in a Win7 Pro install, there's Contacts Desktop Downloads Favorites Links My Documents My Music My Pictures My Videos Saved Games Searches ... and a smattering of other junk. It annoys me how Windows's scheme implies user/appdata carries as much significance as, say, user/mymusic, user/mypics and user/mydocs. My own MyDocs looks a bit hodgepodgey too though: Inbox - "stuff to process" that I don't have a habit or prompt to look at regular... (...more)
