Looking forward to trying my new running shoes. My previous pair were some comfy velcro-enabled cheapest-possible-sneaker from Target or the like, that I bought just to have something less bulky than my steel toe work boots to wear on planes and vaycay.

Long long dreams, wish I'd jotted it down earlier... near the end, there was a mirror (ala Imaginos) who was also a black woman who painted herself blue, and she had another white friend who may or may not have been a mirror, and also painted herself blue. I wasn't fatally attracted to her (the first mirror) but she made no bones of wanting me.

That's a really slow 3.3mi time for me, and it's because I kept thinking I would cool off and hit the Cybex equipment... but when I had cooled off, I felt like I hadn't done justice to the cardio portion of my workout, so I stepped the pace back up and got hot and sweaty all over again. Friday night into Saturday I got thoroughly fucking disgusted with all the people in my FB friendlist posting nasty statuses about how anyone who doesn't like "merry christmas" can "go home". That's exactly the kind of attitude that led Gandhi to observe, in not quite so many words, that Christianity would be a fine religion if it wasn't for all the utter twats who think their Christian identity is carte blanche to be a cocknugget to everyone who isn't.
