PHP has a mail() function, which in a standard LAMP stack production environment calls *nix sendmail, or perhaps postfix. XAMPP for Windows supports PHP's mail() by pointing it to a copy of Byron Jones' public-licensed "fake sendmail for Windows", in theory providing cross-platform portability for PHP apps that rely on mail(). I forget what the sticking point was, but when I broke into web dev I had difficulties with XAMPP's implementation, and turned instead to Martin Lambers' msmtp. My solution was to... (...more)

The big Pubilx had plenty of Muir Glen canned tomato, with expiry dates solidly into the post-BPA range, on sale, as was Sutter Home merlot. Refer to the 2.1 version of the recipe. Pinto beans were soaked ahead of time and stored. Started the main cooking with the last of the fresh onions (medium-small), purchased 9/30. Woke up trying to yell at my friends, one of whom was John Travolta, because they thought it would be funni joak to pester me about could they have this and that piece of furniture (a footy bathtub, a dresser, et al) while I was trying to take a dump, in my bathroom with no door, which I had gone to great effort to screen off with a curtain of vertical blinds.
