Session #32: 3.3mi / 43m53s. 1.5mi at a 5.0mph jog, cooldown, .5mi at 5.4mph, cooldown, final stretch of a bit over a lap at 5.8mph.
That's right, close to 2 minutes clipped off my best time. What was different? First, I ran yesterday, so today defied the conventional "train every other day" wisdom. But the every-other-day thing is intended to promote cross-training, so that a) stressed tissue gets a chance to heal and b) the little oddball muscles that don't get worked in your main exercise do get some...

Session #31: 3.3 mi / 46m26s. 7.4mph is sustainable for a half-lap, but that's my limit - I shot for 7.5, and it just takes more core muscle power than I have. I'm already routinely taking full laps at 6.0mph. Remember when that wasn't even my half-lap top speed?
I always thought "keine(r) macht für dich mehr" would translate as "no more power for you" or "no power for you anymore", but "no one does more for you" makes a lot more sense in the context of the song in which it's most prominent ("Light"), of which this might be the kickin-est remix:
