Apple + roquefort cheese tart, paired with 90 minute IPA
Asparagus + lobster salad w/ champagne vinaigrette, paired with Midas Touch. I previously thought I wasn't keen on the feety notes of Midas Touch but I might be thinking of a different DFH "ancient" brew, namely Theobroma. Or maybe I was already half in the bag and ready to drink whatever they threw at me.
Beef wellington and a handful of young asparagus spears and cherry tomato; paired with Bitches Brew, a Russian imperial stout style brew. Very heavy, fair with one course but not something I could drink much of.
Tres Leche cake, basically a very dense white cake frosted thinly with whipped cream and served with a handful of fresh raspberries; paired with Fort, a Belgian style beer brewed with almost too much raspberries, to a ridiculous 15-18% ABV.
