This morning I went with yerba mate instead of coffee: 3 scoops in the french press, first press served with less steeping time than I traditionally do, which made for a fairly rich second press.
I think it says something about my slow, steady training progress that even with only one prior training session in over a month, two 3.3-mile runs yesterday didn't leave me sore today.
Castle Age: Curse Aurora and her under-10% drop rate for the Staff of the Lifeless. I had all the Runes of Life I needed to create Heart of the Woods after 13 Aurora kills, but I still need that Staff to create Heart of the Woods and move ahead to hunting Magmos. On a happier note, I was accepted to a group organized exclusively for gold-medal kills. They summon a handful of different monsters on Wednesday evenings, and the admins ensure the monsters all die in 24-hour gold-medal time. So I'm looking forward to retiring a few more low-to-mid-level monsters from my spreadsheet.
