If you google the phrase "random Bible verse", the highest-ranking results are websites that admittedly return a randomized selection, but only from a cherry-picked subset of Bible verses. No obscure jewels like this from Jeremiah 49:13:

For I have sworn by myself, saith Jehovah, that Bozrah shall become an astonishment, a reproach, a waste, and a curse; and all the cities thereof shall be perpetual wastes.

(For reference, Bozrah is known in modern times as Busairah in Jordan - a region which, while not heavily populated, is also demonstrably not a desolated ruin.)

And of course none of the passages betraying the atrocious violence advocated in the name of the God of the OT: e.g. if you capture a city, then kill all the men, enslave, rape and/or kill the women, butcher the children, and if you can't annex the land, then sack and burn it. Can't afford to retire? Bad harvest season? Just sell your daughters into slavery. Death, preferably by stoning for adulterers and "witches".

Slightly less relevant by Google's lights are links to software download sites presumably offering software that picks randomly from a local database of Bible verse. And OK, that's kind of handy; but why can't some brother just put up a web-based random-verse picker that draws on the WHOLE Bible? Anything less fails a basic precept of Fundamentalism.

And after these Google results, calling into question their relevancy rankig, we find this Random Bible Quotes website. Clean, simple design, selects randomly enough I assume, and most importantly, doesn't dodge the atrocities advocated in the name of the God of the Old Testament. Seems to be based on English Revised or American Standard translations.
