Not so very long ago this morning's friction could have easily turned into a day, or even days, of tense distancing. I feel like we've both gotten a lot better at sorting out boundaries and communicating without manipulation. Not that a frictionless marriage is ever a realistic expectation, but quick repairs are a good sign.
