Over the past few days I went to post some pic dumps on Insta, and it kept wanting to start a "reel" instead of a "post". Turns out this is the new default and there is nothing in Settings to change it. We can still post "posts", it's just always an extra step to undo the presumption that everyone prefers "reels". Also, Insta has regressed to a stupider cropping default in multi-pic posts. We can always hope to see repentance, but a sober assessment must conclude the amateur user experience is not likely to get any better - it will almost certainly keep getting pushed further under the bus in favor of monetization.

Not sure why we even have Pam Original Spray - reports advise against using it in the air fryer b/c the propellant reportedly compromises fryer basket finish. Oh, and nobody seems to know for sure what the smoke point is, but the top search results with any relevance at all suggest 120F as a max safe usage temperature. And that's not a cooking temperature; egg doesn't even coagulate below 140F and the minimum safe internal temperature for foods you shouldn't eat raw is 160F.

Pluto TV was the only service I could find to watch Clerks. Turns out the events of Mallrats occur the day before Clerks (Julie Dwyer's death, the viewing for which is in Clerks) - so Mallrats first is a valid [View] Askewniverse sequencing. (Too bad no one, not even ad-supported services like Pluto, is carrying it for free.)
