- Loved the whiting, *chefkiss* fried chicken
- Didn't try the waffles. I think the "chicken and waffles" brunch-menu fad is post-peak and this ain't a brunch joint.

Long slow slog to Hains Point Island. Parking was surprisingly sufficient past the midpoint of the southbound loop leg. A very fine family walk with cherry and other trees blossoming, views across the Washington Channel to the War College neighborhood and across the Potomac to DCA. The doggo was entranced by kites.
