As we prepared to return to our canoes and continue downstream toward Port Nyanzaru, one of the goblin scout squad who had hailed us to help with last session's ghoul/ghast encounter ... hailed us again. Sniggleblax warned of an ambush party led by another ambitious goblin, who coveted the moonbeam spear we'd looted. This Bougnish (sp?) reportedly thought the spear would seal a challenge of the nomad goblin tribe's chieftain.

With Snickerdoodle's assistance, we were able to ambush the ambushers. Wadgour's cast of Phantasmal Force kept one of the ogres befuddled while we picked off the other ogre and 3? 4? goblins, but the treacherous ringleader Bougnish escaped.
