Circling back to the broken Pager widget ... this was probably plucked from the archaic PEAR collection, last updated 2017 i.e. fair to call it "abandoned". The current PHP development paradigm centers around module/package-management via Packagist, Composer, Laravel etc.; but code from those channels can be isolated and integrated on a standalone basis.

TIL William Gibson's short story, "New Rose Hotel" had a 1998 movie adaptation starring Christopher Walken and Willem Dafoe. Budget figures are unavailable but it grossed under $22K. Premiered at just one NYC theater, picked up for another week at just 1 more theater. Aside from the polarizing "Johnny Mnemonic" which even Keanu Reeves, Ice T, and Henry Rollins couldn't save, Gibson's work has been long regarded as "difficult" to adapt to screen. Apple TV is working up a 10-ep miniseries of "Neuromancer", hopefully more faithfully than "Foundation".
