Cheapest no-plastic alternative is Floofah Luffa Fiber Kitchen Sponge ($7ish):
- quick drying, gentle enough for nonstick pans when wet, dishwasher safe for regular sanitizing
- many loofah kitchen scrubbers still have plastic stitching/adhesives; Floofah is known no-plastic
