With all the thought I've put into getting and staying regimented,
I still have yet to decisively adopt a "to do list" platform.
- Joplin was supposed to replace Keep / Sheets lists
- bc the techbroligarch ecosystem has squandered their trust
- But Joplin notes weren't easily accessible via browser (the most convenient/discreet channel)
- Adopting PC Joplin app was an easy concession at home; awkward everywhere else
- Having to markup in HTML as a blog database "bag" item is too much friction
- I will probably never invent a plaintext-to-preformatted viewport for Phosphoros
Turns out Joplin released a web "app" on 05-27. If I was them maybe I'd have pushed that news in the apps.
- app.joplincloud.com
- Relies on navigator.storage.getDirectory() ... hard-disabled in all major browsers' private modes
- Only works with configs where files are synced to Joplin Cloud - not Dropbox-based configs
If the goal was simply physical keyboard precision away from the home desktop,
then a folding bluetooth keyb/mouse combo would be easier than end-running around sec/tech hurdles.
BUT treffing and using even lightweight keyb/mouse kit is a friction point all its own.
