Slept decently. A couple bananas for breakfast. Had a sad little call with Dad and a much more constructive convo with Mom and if Hell can contain itself for another couple weeks, then I think 2013 may somewhat redeem 2012's disappointments.

Managed to break a CFL bulb as I was trying to get dressed and get out and about, and ventilation isn't a selling point in my little apartment, so I had to do a little relay dance holding my breath between spurts of getting glass vacuumed up and finishing getting dressed etc. Yesterday's storm front brought in a cool spell behind it: 62F at noon.

Lunch from The Whale's Rib, over by Deerfield Pier and Kahuna - a bit pricey but oh-so-tasty. I got a cup of lobster bisque and split a blackened dolphin sandwich. Figure 372 kcal and 30g protein for a 12oz "bowl" of bisque. Livestrong says a 4oz serving of mahi-mahi is a whopping 21.76g protein in 100 kcal, figure my half sammich was 10g and 50 kcal plus 100 kcal and maybe 4g protein for the whole-wheat bun, and 50 kcal for the tartar sauce... I had also brought a banana because the bananas I got the other day won't be perfect much longer. I wasn't in the mood for it with lunch, I ended up eating it ~4:15-4:30 for my pre-run carb-up. Half the calories, far more economical than a powersauce, and no sugar spike-and-crash.

Started at 5.7mph, down .1mph per half-mile until the 2-mile mark, where I took a cooldown lap. Then back to... 5.1? until the 3.05mi mark, and took the final lap at 6.1mph. My left achilles tendon area is still a bit achey, not worse but not really better than my last run.

Dinner: Wendy's double-stack and large chili. This put me over 100g protein for the day and still 1000 kcal deficit.
