Lots of things need doing and I sure don't feel like doing a one of them. Guess I should start with laundry while I wait for the landlord to make his rounds.

For breakfast: trky-bcn-chz Lean Pockets. Pre-run carb-up: the last PB powersauce. Run 166: 3.3mi / 37:54. 191# (v.pleased w/that again), 522 kcal. Started at 6.5mph, down .1 mph per quarter-mile, cooldown at 1.5mi... 'sright bitches, a mile and a half averaging 6.25mph, and the break was planned... then back to 6.1mph descending. For the final lap the pattern would have been to drop from 5.7 to 5.6mph, but instead I bumped back up to 6.1, which is phenomenal. Really just a phenomenal run overall. The 171# (24.9 BMI) goal isn't looking realistic by Easter, but I'm on track to revisit Marine-grade cardio performance.

Chipotle salad formula "A": dbl chx with guac, and a Negra Modelo, then grocery shopping. Got most of what I wanted, plus a magnum of finest bottom-shelf (Woodbridge) pinot noir on sale. Nice change of pace from my usual merlots and cabs. One glass of that finishes the day's calorie count at 722 kcal deficit vs. 113g protein. Regretting the Negra Modelo, slightly, since I ended up with wine anyway, but after such a splendid treadmill showing I think a little above-and-beyond reward is appropriate self-programming. And a little perspective here... a 12oz bottle of Negra Modelo is 165-170 kcal, while a PB powersauce is 240 kcal.
