Slept like an exceedingly sleepy thing - landlord woke me knocking to collect rent ~10:30. Coffee, vitamins, Wendy's dbl-stack and lg chili combo for breakfast, festival guild battle.

Been gearing toward rogue evade achievement in festi, and the newly introduced "conquest report" element is a drain on guild coins, so I've been trying to hit guild battles more. Or as much as I used to, anyway. I had 12K coins banked for Healing Helm, but I'm very torn whether I want to spend it on that, or Evade 3, or the general Excelsior. Stamina is precious too though - there's a lot of times I feel like a lowbie battle isn't worth 20 stam I'd rather use on a monster or duels.

CA:HoD: Finished 1 each of the Scale Slicer sword and Armor of the Burning Depths, can't see endlessly plinking away at those and the epic loot thresholds for Selenia are still beyond me, much less Magdalena and Mayuda, so, that's getting boring and same-y.
Godville: Once your hero finishes a temple, there's nothing but pay2win and a years-long "saving for retirement" goal. So I think that's going to fall by the wayside soon too.

Did some upper-body work with the 5# dumbbells, mostly curls but also some barbell rows adapted to the dumbbells, and some specific triceps exercises.

Tossed some mix discs and a commercial copy of Rasputina's "Thanks for the Ether", but not before I copied tracklistings from my LJ.

Bananas purchased Thursday evening were just about perfect today, so 2 of those served as my pre-run carb-up. I've had some really stellar runs lately, burning miles at 6.5 or the whole 3.3mi run in the mid-high 5.x mph area. Today I started at 5.1 with the intent of attempting 4-5 mi at that speed. By 2.5mi I needed to cool off though. 5 miles took 71m50s, and a whopping 746 kcal burned.

On the way home, picked up a few pounds of ground turkey to cook down with my last frozen chunk into two 2# portions and last 2 onions, to freeze for my next chili batches. Sauteeing the onions, garlic and meat is decidely the most time-consuming part of the process, especially if the turkey is starting from frozen-raw. So I reckon if it's frozen but pre-cooked, I can just throw that in the pot, pour canned tomato and spice on it, and actually have chili cooked and cooled enough for the fridge, even on a "school night".

Also, V-8. I was absolutely craving that and NOT soy milk after the gym. Seems the antioxidant variety is always scarce - I don't know why they don't just enrich the whole product line with AC+E. Also half a cantaloupe and a pound of strawberries for Sunday breakfast, and maybe I'll do a press of the limon yerba maté too.
