Indigestion woke me in the wee hours - I'm blaming that on Pubilx deli's deep-fried catfish. This was actually quite a bit better than it sounds; if I had a sub roll and some tartar sauce it would have been one hell of a po'boy. Sleep disturbances have been a thing all week - something to do with not hitting the gym since Saturday, no doubt, Sunday's easy walk notwithstanding. So I got on the 'mill this evening and hit that bitch hard for 5 miles solid in 57m41s. Add in the 1-lap cooldown: 5.25mi = 3.5mi x 1.5. That's right, 50% more distance. Considering my usual time is around 40 minutes I guess that makes total sense.

That left me pretty famished, so after some V8 to re-balance electrolytes, and a glass of wine because I'm awesome, and a shower because I was also 50% more sweaty, I did the scramble dog wrap and chili combo for supper, logging the day's intake at ~1100 kcal deficit and 122g protein.

It finally occurred to me to simply borrow the flatbed scanner Mitch brought in, which I was never sure if he intended to give ME or to give the office. The office has a nice multi-page, double-sided scanner that everybody loves; the flatbed was just laying around gathering dust. So I think it's time to start making my box of old pictures and greeting cards and Retina Soybean prints and such disappear.
