I'm sure I went to sleep before midnight, because CA guild battle ended around 9PM and I remember thinking around 11 "if I get to sleep soon I might actually catch next battle from the beginning". So then I woke past noon, and for once not because I woke for hours in the middle of the night/too-early morning :O This despite that second cup of coffee mid-afternoon, and without a glass of wine to soften me up in the evening. Missed guild battle AND festival battle, but not complaining.

Second-to-last of the Via instant coffee packets Mrs. H gave me when I was last up there: Starbucks Xmas blend. A banana and a pound of strawberries for... I guess it's lunchtime at 1-1:30.

A recent Y!A question asked how much protein a person really needs. This calculator suggests 85g/day, based on 5'10" medium-frame 44yo "sedentary" male parameters. Bumping up to "active" raises it to 95g/day. This seems high for "sedentary" and 10g seems like a meaningless bump vs. margin of error.

Yet another really good treadmill session. 189# weigh-in. 2mi solid at 6.1mph to start (plus maybe another half-lap), a half-mile cooldown, then the rest of 5.0mi at 5.1mph. I crossed the 1-hour mark at 4.64 miles. I really felt like the 30-minute 5K was possible today. Soon.
