FL Lotto picked the wrong numbers again.
1/4 bag of Alma whole wheat fusilli and ~1 serving of the "well done" chili for brunch, which is ~50g of protein and 743 kcal in just that one meal.
I never got around to calculating the protein index value of canned Royal Pink wild salmon last time it occurred to me. Turns out it's the highest-index food of anything I've charted so far, at 22g / 160 kcal = .1375 index value. Compare to turkey dogs at .1333, or ground turkey, .1176.
I had made several stalled starts on decisively charting calories-per-day baselines down to my target weight, which represents the top of the "healthy" BMI range at 5'9.5": 171#. Today I picked on the About.com daily calorie burn calculator down to 149#. Because that webapp doesn't accept "9.5" as an inch measure, I ended up polling for both 5'9" and 5'10" and averaging for each pound delta. Point of information: at 171#, my sedentary calorie equilibrium point will be a nice round 2000 kcal.
