I took a look at the Youfit in Palmetto Square (right behind Tomasso's) yesterday on my way out+about. All their cardio equipment actually works... no "out of order" signs on half the treadmills, and TVs at every machine. (Gold's had TVs at every cardio machine... until they started the renovation-that-never-ended. Then the treadmills lost their TVs.) Airflow seems fair, maybe slightly cooler than Gold's - but the kicker is that all the treadmills have dual fans BUILT INTO the control panel. So even if the temperature is the same, the airflow is better, and at $10/mo I save the cost of the $25 cancellation fee in 2 months.

The dangerous thing is there's Pubilx, Subway, Chinese / Thai, a BBQ joint, DD and Tomasso's all right there.

Speaking of food: My diet journal is falling off the rails. Last entry was 03/15, today is 3/22. Not that I've been pigging out, just losing the handle on the daily calorie bottom line. Gym attendance has also been chaotic - a few days in a row, a few days off, which is better than nothing, sure, but far from ideal.
