I've had it in the back of my mind for some time that I'd like to do something interfaith-y. The idea I had was a web resource that lets religious orgs, mainly churches and "community centers", post and share community events. Let's stick with the term "org" with the understanding that it may include conventional churches, YMCAs, JCAs, Muslim community centers, civic youth programs and more. The basic idea is that people who belong to one org, but who have friends or family who belong to another org, can build a profile of "orgs of interest". For example, if I belong to St. Gregory's church but Hammock St. Church is organizing a benefit 5K run, well then I'll be aware of it. Or org leaders can pull up a list of all local org events and tie-in or recommend it to their community members.

The latter aspect is especially intriguing. I'd love to see orgs picking up on each others' ideas, cross-sponsoring and coordinating resources. There might already be half a zillion nonprofits that do something like this in regional contexts. I'll look into interfaith bridge orgs at some point but this evening I was more focused on:

HT start a nonprofit, and
B corp certification (e.g. Ben & Jerry's, Etsy and Seventh Generation)
