The slow dance of farmed battle dovetails nicely with Gary's "Rock Labyrinth" internetsradio programme. Last night was the 1-year anniversary episode. While I listened to that, and between guild battle swats and duel skirmishes, I wrote out the letters I'd intended for so long to my niece and nephew.
In my refrigerator produce drawer I discovered 3 bottles of hard cider I'd forgotten about. I did not respect my body's nutrition needs well at all yesterday. My quads are still a bit sore from Sunday's run.
Lunch: half a subway dbl chx. Picked up a check, stuffed cards with printed letters into a joint envelope and slipped back out to the post office and bank.
Decommissioning \\wraith and recommissioning as... I don't even know yet, actually. Hard to know what to do with an archaic laptop with fritzed display and "only" 60G drive space free. I can RDC into it but it seems to run strangely slow (did I underclock this bad boy?) and XP will go out-of-lifecycle and unsupported in 7 months anyway.
[addendum Dec 2013: I think I did underclock it back at Waterways because of fan noise. Regardless, it's too slow for any practical application and end-of-support is what it is.]
