What a dreary morning. Oh, and happy Unabashed Domestic Spying And Curtailed Freedoms Rationalization Day. Definitely never forgetting... how the poor and middle classes got stuck with the bill for 2 oil-baron wars and a more militarized police state.

Triple Coin Tuesday evening guild battle was not what I'd hoped for. Our opponents refused to waltz, so battle was over in about 2.5 hours instead of stretched to 5. I'd hoped that a near-optimal triple collect would afford me my final Evade upgrade. 9040/9500 still isn't bad though.

Marching slowly up on Duke rank in conquest duels too. Dunno why I'd want a Duke's Bone Blade at this point when a) it's not an archive item, b) I have better offense (Living Death) and defense (Heart o/t Woods) weapons, and c) DBB with 2 forge slots filled with Bronze Ingot Stack of Piercing (+35) and Shining Gem of Earth Fury (+25) still doesn't compare to Warbringer Longblade (+40) with one forge slot filled with the ingot stack (+35). So I think I'mma skip that 3000-coin purchase and make do with my LD until Warbringer Longblade, which IS an archive item as well. (By that time I expect a new two-slot legendary weapon anyway.)

My Nike running shoes definitely lasted the 500 miles quoted by the shoe store sales clerk back on 2011-12-02, and then some. But that big toe hole is starting to develop, so I think it's about time for a new pair. I want velcro straps instead of laces this time around.

1 coffee with vitamins and omega-3 caps. Breakfast: a few slices of ww bread with pb. Lunch: April brought me some of her homemade eggplant parmigiana - not exactly filling considering my usual skip-breakfast pattern, but very tasty. I want her tomato sauce recipe. Actually... I want EVERYONE'S family recipes for tomato sauce, or "red gravy" as some call it. Dinner: chicken tenderloins, broccoli, spinach and Mezzetta sliced kalamata olives pan-cooked in some Classico spicy red pepper sauce. Incidentally, I bought that overpriced brand jar of sliced olives Sunday, and sure enough last night Vigo sliced olives were back in stock 25% cheaper.

Well played, Pubilx, well played.
