Castle Age: Patiently waiting for monsters to die, including my Tower of Transcendence II platinum tier Magmos (#6), for summoner achievement, lava flask loot, and monster points. Two other Magmoses (#7 and 8), both for lava flasks and one also for Tower II monster points. Two Thanatoses (#4 and 5), for the "defeat Thanatos 5 times" achievement which awards some favor points. Picked up another 750ml bottle of the Turning Leaf pinot grigio. Of the white wines I tried in my 5-bean recipe, that was the one... (...more)

1.5 cups dry El Sembrador lentils, 1/2 cup each frozen chopped spinach and broccoli crowns 1 cup frozen chopped spinach, 1 cup Liberty Creek merlot, 2 cups water, a couple splashes of olive oil and a couple dashes of lite salt. Simmer medium-low 20 minutes. Not sure whether it was the absence of broccoli or a weakness of the wine or a shortage of salt, but this didn't come out all that flavorful. What I'm actually eating? Alma whole-wheat fusilli mixed with chickpeas, dressed in olive oil and balsamic vinegar, dusted with parmesan/romano cheese, with a glass of Liberty Creek merlot (12% ABV * 1.5L/$6.99 = 25.75 bodine value). Not quite as rewarding as the Little Penguin merlot but still not bad. Pretty sure Western Beef screwed up at the register again, $6.99 is a credible 750ml price, and a stellar 1.5L price. Maybe that's the wheel of karma coming back around from the overpriced yerba maté. The ... (...more)

Dear Google, I love how you index the whole interwebs and make everything searchable, really I do. But when my search terms are, for a hypothetical example, "latino tranny shaved teens" and I click the "videos" link, we both know that Youtube's are not the most relevant results. Yet there they are - pages of them, ranked ahead of actually relevant results. So please. We know you own Youtube now, just as we know Youtube is less relevant, by nature of its policy, than countless other sites for certain... (...more)
