Miss ya kid. Remembering watching you looking at shinies in the museum gift shop, and picking out prints from the sidewalk vendor outside. It was a beautiful sunny day, vibrant colors and light still etched on my mind.
It'd be nice to hear from you once in a while, I reached out a few times but when it's all one-way I have to assume contact is unwanted. Hope all's well with you.
There was another song that spoke to me too, specifically the lyric about "your heart isn't shattered anymore". My heart hasn't felt so shattered lately; if anything, what propelled me to church this month was a sense of thanksgiving for blessings in my life, not heartbreak. But Ouro's death was a sharp reminder of where I've walked all too recently. Self-centered? Maybe. But if the God of my understanding is real, then my friend is going to wake up to a cup that runneth over with all this world couldn...

Slept decently, if lightly - I woke up a couple times but not for long. The subjectively remarkable thing was how much I dreamed. I woke feeling like, whoa, that was a lot of dreamtime. Maybe it wasn't, I dunno.
Coffee+vitamins, a PB sammich (1 srv PB = 200 kcal, 8g protein; 2 pc bread = 120 kcal, 6g protein), a cup of Great Grains banana-nut crunch cereal (6g protein, 240 kcal), and 2 servings (maybe less) Pubilx Chocolate Trinity ice cream (400 kcal, 6g protein). So, 200+120+240+400=960 kcal and 8+6+6...

Yesterday I had a cup of coffee at my desk after 4 in preparation for busting my hump at the gym; leftover chicken-veggie-bean-rice mix for dinner; took 3mg melatonin around 8:30 and was drowsy by 10:30~11:00. Slept pretty soundly, woke before the 7:20 alarm, coffee + vitamins, Pubilx Chocolate Trinity ice cream for breakfast lol, 3 Taco Bell chx soft tacos for lunch (36g protein/under $5).
Coffee ~4:45 in preparation for busting hump at the gym again. Dinner needs to be something more along the lines o...

OK, maybe not breakfast. I forgot I had leftovers, and went with a couple slices of blended-grain bread with peanut butter, and a cup of Post Great Grains Banana Nut Crunch. The day off to recover yesterday was splendid, and I had energy to do a couple sets of sit-ups and about a minute's plank before I hopped in the shower. Nice high atmospheric pressure and sun certainly didn't hurt either.
Lunch: Wendy's double stack single stack (their mistake, which I of course did not discover til I was unwrapping...
